Course Description

This training is on leash basic obedience level commands (sit, down, heel, stay), Loose leash walking and socialization. Your dog will have a good foundation of basic obedience and will have daily interaction with children, adults, and the trainers personal dog. Your dog will be exposed to different training environments and distractions to assist your dog in becoming a well rounded member of your family. This training course is perfect for those with busy schedules and would like a solid foundation of training to be implemented with their dog. This training package also comes with 3 in person sessions where the trainer will instruct you on how to maintain your dogs learned disciplines as well as a continued dialog for follow up questions with the trainer. It’s important to remember, your dog will learn a lot of new behaviors and manners while with the trainer. This does not mean your dog is “complete”. Your dog will need to have these new behaviors enforced by the owner. It is very normal for your dog to come home and act like their old self. They will be returning to an environment where they have rehearsed “bad behaviors” and will start to resort back to such behavior if training is not continued. Our trainer will show you everything they have learned and teach you how to reinforce their skills to maintain a happy and well trained dog.
